Nasopharyngeal DLBCL Misdiagnosed as a Nasal Polyp in an 84-Year-Old Patient: A Case Report

Malignant lymphoma is a malignant tumor that occurs in the lymphocytes but can also occur anywhere body. On other hand, lymphomas originating from nasopharyngeal space are very rare. We experienced case of 84-year-old female patient with huge mass, who had no complaints than right nasal congestion, intermittent rhinorrhea, and sneezing. A physical examination revealed large, polypoid, transparent mass at her cavity. Nasal polyp was suspected endoscopic sinus surgery performed. histological examination, she diagnosed diffuse large B cell lymphoma, CD20, BCL-2, BCL-6 positive. Low dose maintenance chemotherapy carried out consideration patient’s age. complete remission expected based on imaging tests following chemotherapy. report occurred an elderly successful low review literature.
